Dallas Rex Marlowe

Dallas Rex Marlowe, 92, of Macon, passed away November 8, 2017. Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2017, also at Hart's at the Cupola, with burial at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Research Foundation, 3152 Little Road, Suite 146, Trinity, FL 34655 or Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210. Mr. Marlowe served in the United States Army Air Corps and then served as a civilian at Robins Air Force Base for 39 years. While there, he worked as a flight test engineer, provided technical services for many aircraft and ended his career as a logistics manager for the GPS system. Mr. Marlowe is survived by his wife of 31 years, Doris Marlowe; sons, Rex Marlowe, of Macon, Todd Marlowe, of Cumming, GA; daughter, Michelle Marlowe Hood (Edrick), of Andersonville, GA; step-children, Jan Powers, of Macon and Ken Pritchett, of Macon; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Bobbie Meston, of Orlando, FL.
