Crosby Carnage Hammock

Crosby Carnage Hammock (CC), 89, a resident of 2009 Vineville Apartments, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013. Mr. Hammock was the son of the late Ellis W. Hammock and Julia Crosby Hammock. Mr. Hammock graduated from Smith High School in Twiggs County in 1940. He was retired from the Central of Georgia Railroad. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in the family cemetery in Twiggs County. Mr. Hammock was predeceased by his wife, DeLoris G. Hammock, a brother, Cater Hammock and a sister, Elsie Williams. He is survived by two stepsons, Donald Rooks (Sandra) and Charles Rooks (Sandra), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
