Macon- Corinne Johnston, 93, died Friday, July 8, 2011. Services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with burial in Macon Memorial Park. Dr. David Hunter and Dr. Charles Michael Blizzard will officiate. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 3:00PM until 5:00PM at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 6611 Zebulon Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Mrs. Johnston was predeceased by her husband, Curtis Bynum Johnston and by her son, Ronnie H. Davis. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she served as Director of Home Bound for ten years. Mrs. Johnston was the owner of One Hour Valet for more than fifty years. Mrs. Johnston is survived by her daughter, Brenda D. Gerbert of Warner Robins; son, Garry Davis of Macon; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Johnson of Macon and many nieces and nephews.
