Constance Lee

Constance Sansbury Lee, 86, died Thursday, July 23, 2009. Funeral services will be private on Monday, July 27, 2009 at Riverside Cemetery with Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating. Mrs. Lee was a lifelong member of Ingleside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lee was born in Timmonsville, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Aileen Bailey Sansbury and James Phillip Sansbury. She graduated from Anderson College, Greenville, South Carolina.

Mrs. Lee was the wife of the late Robert Edward Lee, former owner of Robert E. Lee Insurance.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Edward Lee, Jr. (Jan), Walter Sansbury Lee (Diane), Leland William Lee (Carol), four grandchildren, Robin Parker, Jenny McEwen, Walter Sansbury Lee, Jr. and Meredeth Kristin Lee, and ten great-grandchildren.

The family request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Macon, Georgia 31201 or Ingleside Baptist Church, 834 Wimbish Road, Macon, Georgia 31210 or a charity of the donor's choice.
