Clarence “CJ” Nylund, 85, of Macon passed away peacefully December 19, 2020.
CJ was born January 12,1935 in Vasa, Finland; he moved to New Jersey as a child. He attended Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware. CJ proudly served in the Army at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Georgia. He worked for Moore Business Forms and then became self-employed in Real Estate in New Jersey and then in Pensacola, Florida. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge in Augusta since the 1950’s. CJ had his pilot’s license; he and Jackie flew all of the Southeast United States. He lived in Macon, Georgia for the last 6 years.
CJ was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline (Dick) Nylund; he remarried and was predeceased by his second wife, Patricia (Lewis) Nylund. He is survived by his brother, Harry Nylund of Vineland, New Jersey; one son, Kirk (Cheryl) Nylund and their children, Christopher (Makenna) Nylund and Matthew (Kelly) Nylund of Macon, Georgia; daughter Margaret Parton of Millville New Jersey and her children, Linda Costanzo and Sean Nylund; step daughter, Suzanne (Randall) Martin and her son Cornelius (CJ) Du Toit of Winder, Georgia, and Marc Harper of Virginia. CJ was loved by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held in New Jersey in the summer.
