Chul Yung Song

Mr. Chul Yung Song, 92, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. A private graveside will be held for the family where he will be laid to rest next to his wife, Helen Elizabeth Jackson Song, in the Gordon Family Cemetery, in Gray, Georgia.

Mr. Chul was born on January 14, 1934, in Seoul, South Korea. He graduated from Chungang University in Seoul with a degree in English and Literature. After service in the South Korean Army, he arrived in US in 1962 to obtain a Masters in English from Georgia State University. He married Helen Jackson in 1967. After becoming a US citizen in 1971, he worked in various retail management positions until he retired from Dillard’s in 2015.

Mr. Chul is survived by his children: Eric Song (Sonya), Jackie Song (Dwight), Matt Song (Janie), and Robert Song (Gege), as well as 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
