Christy Renee (Hargis) Esper

Christy Renee Hargis Esper, 50, passed away on September 8, 2021 at her residence.  Christy was born on April 21, 1971, in Cortez, Colorado to the late Charles Leslie Hargis and Linda Sparks Hargis.  Services will be held at a later date.

Christy was an Educator with Royal Oaks Academy. She attended Texas Women’s University and home-schooled “Sase”.  She was a member of Lion of Judah Synagogue, she loved going to the library and was very out-going, she knew everyone in Jones County.  The most important thing in her life was her family; she loved them dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Marc Esper of Macon, Georgia; daughter, Shekinah “Sase” Esper of Macon, Georgia; three sisters: Carey Hargis of Macon, Georgia; Connie (Charles) Wells of Macon, Georgia; and Charity (Reynaldo) Carretero of Sarasota, Florida; two nieces: Chloe Wells of Macon, Georgia and Sofia Carretero of Sarasota, Florida; two nephews: Dawson Wells of Macon, Georgia and Connor Carretero of Sarasota, Florida.
