Macon- Christopher Van Williams, 34, of 1157 St. Andrews Drive, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 2:00PM at Antioch Baptist Church, 7507 Old Gordon Road, Dry Branch, Georgia 31020 with the Reverend Bill Linder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church on Friday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to All About Animals, P. O. Box 4331, Macon, Georgia 31208. Chris was very loved by his family. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Blondell Lake Williams, great-grandparents, Carl and Juanita Lake, and great-grandmother, Hilda Dunn. Chris graduated from Tattnall Square Academy and attended Georgia Military College where he was a member of the Junior ROTC program. Chris was Assistant Manager of Pest Express, also known as Gantt Manufacturing. He loved animals, Tattnall Square Academy football and being from the South. Survivors include his parents, Van and Linda Williams of Macon and Wanda and Wesley Hearn of McIntyre, Georgia; grandfather, G. V. Williams of Macon; grandmother, Elacia Pennington of Macon and grandfather, Charles V. Frazier of Irwinton, Georgia; sister, Wendy (Robert) Arnold of Forsyth, Georgia; brother, Keith (Kelli) Coppock of Jackson, Georgia; sister, Sherry Hearn of Macon; uncle, Gary Williams of Warner Robins, Georgia; aunt, Debbie Williams of Macon; uncle and aunt, Nancy and Roy Jarrell of Macon; aunt and uncle, Sally and David Howard of Tampa, Florida; nephews, Hunter Bass, Nicolas Arnold and Dillon and Tanner Coppock and his beloved dog, Sam.
