Christopher Mark Roberts

Christopher Mark Roberts passed away on April 8, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 6:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel with the Reverend John Haney officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service from 5:00PM-6:00PM at Jones County Chapel. Chris was the best of the best when it came to being a father to his daughter, Tempy. He enjoyed teaching Tempy to draw and color. Being a great father came easy to him. Chris was a precious son that loved his dog Marshall, music, hunting, fishing, boating, sports, concerts, and spending time with his nephews. He was a "crazy nerd" about biology and was musically and artistically talented. He idolized Michael Jordan and loved expensive tennis shoes. Chris had a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and worked for Sun Chemical in Charleston, South Carolina, where he also lived and attended church at Sea Coast Church. Chris will be greatly missed by all that loved and cared for him. Those left to cherish Chris's memory include: his partner, Heather Batchelor; daughter, Tempy Ann Roberts; mother, Karen Sims Roberts; father, Mark (Amber) Roberts; brother, William "Will" Lamar Roberts; nephews, Mason and Hudson Roberts; grandparents, Charles and Barbara Roberts; grandmother, Ann Towns Sims; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
