Christine Marie Torres

Christine Marie Torres, 47, reunited with her maker Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Father David Koetter officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior and a reception will follow the service. Christine was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She loved cooking and traveling. She was a dedicated registered nurse who was well loved by her patients and co-workers. She graduated with a nursing degree in 1989 from Divine Word University in the Philippines. Christine's dream of living in America became a reality when she joined Community Staffing Solutions in March 2016 as a Registered Nurse. Christine is survived by her parents, Luis and Norma Torres of Tacloban, Philippines; brother, Oliver Torres (Leng) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; sister, Lenor Merioles (Emil) of Malaysia; nieces and nephews, Anton Torres, Luis Torres, Angeli Torres, Ethan Dominic Merioles, and Elise Christine Merioles; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
