Macon-Christine Thomas, 95, of Macon, died January 7, 2009. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009, at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street with the Reverend Stan Braley officiating. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends on Friday, January 9, 2009, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 7015 Rivoli Road, Macon, GA 31210. Mrs. Thomas, a former member of Cherokee Heights Baptist Church, was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, the Adult I Sunday School Class and the Claudia Bass Mission Circle. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-two years, Bonnie L. Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was retired from Macy's. Mrs. Thomas is survived by her daughters, Kay Hoyle (Bob) of Jonesboro, GA and Norma Ross (Wayne) of Macon; grandchildren, Kelly Hoyle, Kim Johnson (Patrick), Mark T. Ross (Dianne), and Leigh Swicord (Trent); great-grandchildren, Ross and Ellie Swicord, James, Sara and Thomas Ross and Sebastian and Sophia Johnson; nieces, Nancy Garrett and Ann Turner.
