Christine "Chris" Ross Pope

Christine "Chris" Ross Pope died April 8, 2016. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 11, 2016 at 5:30PM, in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Sonny Seneker officiating. Visitation will follow the service. Mrs. Pope was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and was retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Her hobbies were horticulture and cooking, but her favorite joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Pope is survived by her husband, Tom Matthews of Macon; daughter, Elise Shedd (Thomas) of Macon; daughter, Monica Evans (Todd) of Jacksonville, Florida; stepson, Andy Matthews of Macon; grandchildren: Chris Shedd (Morgan), Jessie Evans, and Aaron Evans; great-granddaughter, Kendall Evans; and sister, Frances Maxine Walker of Pensacola, Florida.
