Chester Schweitzer

Chester Schweitzer, 98, passed away April 25, 2017. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11:00AM at Laureldale Cemetery in Reading, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Mr. Schweitzer was a veteran of the U.S. Army and WWII serving in India and Burma and a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in South Temple, Pennsylvania. Mr. Schweitzer is survived by his son, Ron Schweitzer of Groveland, Florida; grandchildren, Michelle Schweitzer of Atlanta, Georgia, Dane Schweitzer of Folsom, California; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Schweitzer of Folsom, California and Ian Schweitzer of Folsom, California.
