Cheryl Hayes Ogle

Cheryl Hayes Ogle, 42, of Gray, passed away into the arms of The Lord on Friday, November 3, 2017. The family will greet friends Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Darnell officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gray Elementary School, Attention Guardian Angel Fund, or purchase a children's book in her honor for the Gray Elementary Children's Library, 365 GA Highway 18 E, Gray, GA 31032. Cheryl was a 1994 graduate of First Presbyterian Day School as well as Georgia College and State University. Cheryl received a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education and has taught Kindergarten for 20 years at Gray Elementary, where she was voted Teacher of the Year in 2015-2016 school year. She was the leader and coordinator of the Guardian Angels at Gray Elementary. Cheryl lived to teach and take care of children. Cheryl was most proud of being a devoted and loving wife and mother. Cheryl was an avid sports fan, especially for the Florida Gators. She also coached baseball and soccer. To many people in the community, she was known as an "Angel on Earth". Her legacy will live on as, "# Love Like Cheryl Ogle". Cheryl was predeceased by her father, Dennis Hayes. Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Trey Ogle of Gray, GA; two sons, Parker and Carson Ogle of Gray, GA; mother and stepfather, Candy and Jim Coleman of Gatlinburg, TN; stepbrother, Adam Coleman (Meredith) of Denver, NC; stepsister, Ginger Elizabeth Coleman of El Paso, TX; father-in-law, Marvin Ogle, Jr. of Lizella, GA; mother-in-law, Lynn Johnston (Bobby) of Macon, GA; brother-in-law, Michael Ogle of Lizella, GA.
