Charles Ronald Womack

Charles Ronald Womack, 64, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church of Gray with the Reverend Randy Darnell officiating. The family will greet friends Wednesday 6:00-8:00PM at Harts Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society, Jones County Relay for Life, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201 in memory of Ronnie Womack. Ronnie was born on December 27, 1953 in Eastman, Georgia, he graduated from Jones County High School in 1972. He was a Baptist and affiliated with First Baptist Church of Gray. He was the owner of Womack Paving Company. Ronnie served in the Georgia Army National Guard. Ronnie enjoyed fishing and hunting. One of his greatest joys was spending time at St. Simons Island with friends and family. He was also an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society, Ronnie allowed the Jones County Chapter to host band parties to raise funds to support finding a cure for cancer. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shorty Womack. Ronnie is survived by his sister, Connie Womack Barnes; brother, Terry Womack; niece, Mary Carlyn Kinamon (Charles); great niece, Sadie Grace Kinamon; great nephew, Cannon Tucker Kinamon; and aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sheffield.
