Charles Wesley Walker, Jr.

February 26, 1941 — August 19, 2018

This is an obituary that is really a reflection on a life well lived. Wesley Walker lived life to the fullest! Wesley laughed louder, hugged longer, prayed deeper and loved fuller with each passing year. If you were blessed to be a friend of Wesley, you were a friend for life. His sense of humor and positive attitude remained fully intact even through his difficult battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Always quick with a smile and armed with a joke, there was rarely a dull moment in the Walker household. That his last moments on this earth were spent happily awaiting his ride to church, gives a glimpse into his true character. Wesley was a man who knew the importance of loyalty and solid foundations. His career, marriage, family, friendships, and faith were intentionally built on rock solid footings. The legacy of those foundations is seen in the bond the Walker children proudly continue.

Charles Wesley Walker, Jr. died August 19, 2018. Born February 26, 1941 to May White and Charles Wesley Walker who predeceased him, he was a lifelong resident of Macon who achieved Eagle Scout before graduating from Lanier High School.
