Charles Leroy Thomas

Charles Leroy Thomas, 87, of Macon, Georgia died Wednesday, May 11, 2016. The family will greet friends at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 3:00PM until 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 950 East Paces Ferry Road, NE, #110, Atlanta, Georgia 30326. Charles served in the United States Army from 1946 until 1948 and actually served in Korea for a time. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Wilkes-Barre College in Pennsylvania and worked for Geico for thirty-five years. Before he retired Charles was a claims consultant. Charles was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, reader and tennis player. Charles is survived by his wife, Nancy Marie Thomas; children, Kurt Thomas (Tosha) of Carrollton, Georgia and Robert Toye (Rickie) of Clemmons, North Carolina; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
