Charles Andrew Swan

Macon-Charles Andrew Swan was born on August 16, 1928 in Chicago, IL. As a young man, he became an accomplished musician and magician. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and married his wife, Margaret, on his return. They had two sons, Gregory and David. In 1971, he formed Windows, Inc., a windows manufacturing company in Florida, where he patented a window design and ran successfully for 25 years before retirement. Entertainer, entrepreneur, loving husband of 60 years, 50 years in the Masonic Order, 43 year Scottish Rite Shriner, Kentucky Colonel, adoring dad, grandpa, great grandpa, and loyal friend. Charles lived a happy and fulfilled life. Charles passed into eternal life at home in Macon on the morning of Thursday, January 6, 2011. He is survived by his wife, children, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, but his memory is a treasure to everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 200 Northside Crossing, Macon, GA 31210. There will be a private burial at a later date. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
