Charles "Chuck" Streams Bragg

Charles “Chuck” Streams Bragg, 67, of Gray, died in a local hospital after a brief illness Tuesday, December 24, 2019. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Hart’s Jones County with Reverend Randy Darnell officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles' memory to the First Baptist Church of Gray, 134 W Clinton St, Gray, GA 31032.

Born on March 23, 1952, Mr. Bragg was a native and long-time resident of Gray. Educated mainly in Jones County schools, he graduated from Georgia Military College High School in 1971, and served in the United States Army from 1972 until 1974.

Mr. Bragg worked for Claussen Paving, TexPrint, and Haband, before retiring in 2018 from Academy Sports. He made many friends wherever he worked.

A member of the First Baptist Church of Gray, Mr. Bragg helped faithfully with its food bank program.

Predeceased by his parents, N. Harris Bragg, Jr. and Frances Hardin Bragg, Mr. Bragg is survived by his daughter, Anna Streams Bragg, his "heart," as he always called her; brother, Bill (Wanda) Bragg;; sister, Cindy (Jack) Bunch; niece, Brittany (Kevin) Ward; and great nephews, Garris and Cannon Ward.
