Charles Franklin Purser

Charles Franklin Purser, 63, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. Memorial services will be on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, with the Reverends Mike Lewis and Steve Johnson officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Hart's, Jones County Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road, PMB 359, Macon, GA 31210. Mr. Purser was born in Sylvester, Georgia to the late Thad Franklin Purser and the late Willie Mae Passmore Purser. He was a plumber for Pyle's Plumbing for 27 years and he was currently employed as a plumbing estimator for Jenkins Plumbing in Pooler, Georgia. Mr. Purser was a computer and electronics enthusiast. Mr. Purser is survived by his wife of 22 years, Tammy Purser of Savannah; two daughters, LeeAnn Ryan (Brian Hinkle) of Gray and Ashley Hall of Macon; grandson, Hayden Watts of Macon; brother, Lester Thad Purser (Clara) of Gray; two nephews, Carl Purser (Jessica) and Clay Purser, both of Gray; and two great nieces, Ella Purser and Tenleigh Purser, both of Gray.
