Charles Wright English, 85, died December 1, 2011 after a prolonged battle with Alzheimers. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Rett English and his parents, George and Lucille English. Mr. English was born in Dublin, Georgia. He graduated from Dublin High School and attended the University of Florida and Mercer University. Mr. English served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a former Governor and active member of the Macon Moose Lodge. A partner in Rett Tile Company, his profession was tile setter, painter and builder. Mr. English was a devoted husband, father, and friend, and will be best remembered for his generosity of spirit and giving personality. He is survived by daughters, Lisa English Hogan (Foye Tinsley) of Macon and Toni English Molleson (Mark) of Calhoun, Georgia; grandson Rett Molleson (Adair) of Mableton, Georgia and granddaughter Stacie Molleson of Schaumburg, Illinois; sister, Mary English Martin of Macon; brother George Lewis English of Cocoa Beach, Florida and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Mike Manley officiating. Burial will be private at Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
