Charles H. Chaffin, Jr.

Charles H. Chaffin, Jr., 80, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014. A memorial service will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Hart’s at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Sonny Seneker officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to International Community School, 2418 Wood Trail Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033.

Mr. Chaffin was a graduate of Lanier High School Class of ’51, attended Mercer University, and worked as a Director, Risk Management for Charter Medical Corporation for 18 years. He enjoyed a successful second career as a private Insurance and Risk Management Consultant and most recently worked with Reeves & Roland Insurance. He was a loving husband and father and doting grandfather.

Mr. Chaffin was predeceased by his wife, Gayle Register Chaffin. Survivors include his daughter, Lindy Chaffin Start of Decatur, Georgia; and granddaughter, Annelise Start.
