Charles Calvin Moore

Charles Calvin Moore went to be with his Heavenly Father, Saturday, July 20, 2013. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 11:00AM at Parkway Assembly of God with The Reverend Joe Williams officiating. The family will greet friends 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Monday, July 22 at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Parkway Assembly of God, 5191 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon, GA 31206 or The Gideons International, 524 Poplar Street, Macon Ga 31201.

Mr. Moore was born in Gainesville, Georgia on January 10, 1924. His parents were William Ernest Moore, Sr. and Bessie Belle Crowe Moore. He was the husband of the late Martha Nell Moore for their 67 years together. He is survived by three children: Charles Terry Moore (Joyce) son, Rebecca Moore Williams (Joe) and Debi Moore Reed (Howard), daughters. His grandchildren were Marty Moore Roper (Will), Kati Williams Hill (Patrick), Joseph (Jed) E. Williams, III (Stacie), Matthew M. Reed, Nathan F. Reed, Elizabeth A. Reed, and Ashby C. Reed. Great-grandchildren include Ezekiel Patrick Hill and Eden-Grae Austin Williams. Mr. Moore was a devoted husband and father and a member of Parkway Assembly of God. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII and was stationed in England in 1944-45. He was employed by the Department of Defense and retired from WRAFB after 46 years of civil service. His life was totally devoted to his home and family for which he prayed faithfully.
