Macon-Charles Harold Bowman, III died Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Services will be held 11:00AM on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at St. Innocent Orthodox Church in Bolingbroke, GA with Father Chris Williamson officiating. Burial will be 3:00PM at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA. Visitation will be 7:00PM on Friday, February 10, 2009 at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Charles Harold Bowman, III Memorial Fund, c/o St. Innocent Orthodox Church in Bolingbroke, GA. Mr. Bowman was the son of the late Charles Harold Bowman, Jr. and the late Viola Frances Adams Bowman. He was also predeceased by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Carkuff. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired from Eberhart-Faber Pen Company after working there 33 years. He was a member of St. Innocent Orthodox Church and previously at St. Elias Antiochan Orthodox Church of Atlanta. Mr. Bowman is survived by his wife, Eleanor Joyce Bowman formerly of Atlanta and now of Jackson, GA; son, Charles Harold Bowman, IV of Navarre, FL; son, William Thomas Bowman of Richmond, VA; step-daughter, Kathleen Dawn Stanley of Gig Harbor, WA; step-son, Mark Douglas Skillman of Ashland, OR; and ten grandchildren.
