C.H. "Kitch" Kitchens

C. H. "Kitch" Kitchens, of Forsyth, Georgia died December 13, 2012 at his home with his wife by his side, after a lengthy illness. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 5:30PM in the Chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The family will have a reception following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Shepherd Care Hospice, 1501 Kalamazoo Drive, Griffin, Georgia 30224 or Save-A-Pet, P. O. Box 933, Forsyth, Georgia 31029. Mr. Kitchens was an avid sportsman. During his younger years, he enjoyed hunting in Texas, Florida, as well as Georgia. One of his many joys was teaching his grandsons hunting safety and hunting with them. "Kitch" spent his entire career in the manufactured housing industry, from transportation to VP and General Manager of manufacturing plants in Florida. Mr. Kitchens is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Carol Stewart Bird of Forsyth; five children; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
