Macon- Cecil F. Osborne, Sr., 88, of 3481 Travis Boulevard, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Glen Cranford officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends on Thursday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Osborne was the son of the late Fred and Lillian Osborne and the husband of the late Bessie G. Osborne and the late Claudia G. Osborne. He was predeceased by his son, Larry E. Osborne. Mr. Osborne was retired from Armstrong World Industries after thirty-five years of service. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Osborne is survived by his son, Cecil F. Osborne, Jr. (Betty) of Memphis, TN, and his daughter, Nancy Jasinski (Ricky) of Macon; grandchildren, Russ Watson (Farrah) and Larri Prince, both of Macon, Trey Tipton (Kristen) of Atlanta, Regina Daub (Todd) of Gray, Penny Lamb (Donnie) of Orange Park, FL, Pam Fields (Ron) of Middleburg, FL; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Hahea Watson and Eric Smith, all of Macon, Matthew Lamb of Orange Park, FL, Ashley Bainbridge and Ron Fields, Jr., both of Middleburg, FL.
