Cecelia Smaha

Cecelia Smaha, 74, of Macon, passed away December 16, 2017. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4074 Chambers Road, Macon, Georgia 31206 with Father David Koetter officiating. The family will greet friends at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210, Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM with the Rosary immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount de Sales Academy, 851, Orange Street, Macon, GA 31201. Ms. Smaha graduated from Mt. de Sales and then from Mercer University. She was an associate of the Sisters of Mercy and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was retired from the Department of Labor and she loved to travel. She is predeceased by her brother, Paul Smaha. Ms. Smaha is survived by her very good friends, Kathryn Harrison and Sister Joan Serda, RSM, both of Macon; sister, Theresa Brimer, of Roswell; brother, Jiggy Smaha of Macon; sister, Trudy Perez-Poveda (Jorge) of Jacksonville, FL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
