Cathryn "Cathy" Bostic

Cathryn “Cathy” Bostic, 80, of Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Hart’s at the Cupola. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born in Viper, Kentucky on April 15, 1945, Cathy was the daughter of the late Lee Campbell and Maxine Campbell Arrington. She and her husband proudly owned and operated the Waffle House on Rocky Creek Road for many years.

Cathy’s life was centered around her family, her faith, and the community she loved. A devoted Christian, she was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church.

Cathy will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tricia Forster of Macon, Georgia, Joseph Ray Bostic (Amber) of Byron, Georgia, and Angie Hamlin (Ted) of Darien, Georgia; twin sister, Carolyn Carey of Miami, Florida; sister, Wilma Hammock (Steve) of Flat Lick, Kentucky; grandchildren: Amy Bostic of Macon, Georgia, Travis Scarborough of Kansas, Dawson Bostic of Byron, Georgia, and Cooper Bostic of Byron, Georgia; great grandchildren: Leigha Edwards, Brentlee Bostic, Ava Bostic, Thomas Bostic, Elizabeth Scarborough, all of Macon.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her husband, Reamer Askew Bostic.
