Catherine English Bell

Catherine English Bell, 95, passed away Friday, July 08, 2016. A celebration of Her life will be held at 3:00P.M. on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA with Reverend Randy Darnell officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Ridge Cemetery. The family will greet friends a half hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Gray, 134 W. Clinton Street, Gray, GA 31032. Mrs. Bell was born in Gibson, GA and was a member of First Baptist Church of Gray. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Atwell Claude Bell and daughter, Patricia Bell Pennington. Survivors include her daughter and son - in-law, Harriet and Richard Furman, of Boone, N.C.; three grandchildren, Ben Furman and wife Laura of Nashville, TN, Patricia Hughett and husband Scott of Boone, NC and Holly Furman of Nashville, TN; and nine great grandchildren.
