Carroll Franklin Hanse III

Carroll Franklin Hanse III, 75, of Macon passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. Funeral services will be private. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org).

Mr. Hanse was born in Macon to the late Carroll Franklin Hanse Jr. and Bobbie Ann Malloy Hanse. He retired from the Macon-Bibb Fire Department with 29 years of service. He is predeceased by his wife of fifty-two years, Peggy Darlene Hanse; and his son, Brian Hanse.

Mr. Hanse is survived by his daughter, Tiffany (Chris) Alley of Macon; his grandson, Hunter (Hailey) Alley of Thomaston; and four granddaughters, Mary- Katherine (Darian) Slappy of Macon, Elizabeth (Kyle) Brooks of Macon, McKenzie Hanse of Senoia and Madelyn Hanse of Senoia; and three great grandchildren, Avery Slappy, Bryson Slappy, and Sadie Brooks.
