Carolyn Wilkes, wife of late husband, Ernest D. Wilkes, Sr., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Mrs. Wilkes was a homemaker and the mother of Ernest D. Wilkes, Jr., late son; Edward Lee Wilkes, son; and daughter, Watha Wilkes Ellington. She was also the grandmother of seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Hart's Cherry Street Chapel, followed by a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m.
