Carolyn Joyce "Joy" Hulgan

December 25, 1945 - March 19, 2014

Joy was a dedicated family member, locally and internationally known artist, and teacher. A Mercer graduate, she was active in the art community.

She was predeceased by her parents Mary and Joe Hulgan; and is survived by her siblings, Jan Hutchinson (Dave), Jil Pinkston (Frank) and Jef Hulgan (Jennifer); and adored nieces and nephews, Logan and Andy Butcher, Mary Carolyn Hulgan; and adopted family, Betty Ann Heath and Frances, Jerry and David G. Hill.

A celebration of life will be held in Mary’s Garden at the Museum of Arts and Sciences, 4182 Forsyth Road., Saturday, March 22 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mary’s Garden, MAS, 4182 Forsyth Road, 31210, or Macon Volunteer Clinic, 376 Rogers Avenue, 31204.
