Carolyn Jeanette Hester

Macon- Carolyn Jeanette Hester, 74, of 120 Pecan Drive, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Andy Pickens officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary. Mrs. Hester enjoyed life and loved to travel. She was predeceased by eight siblings. Mrs. Hester is survived by her children, Jan Andrews (Dennis) and Al Hester, both of Macon; grandchildren, Katie Andrews and Claire Andrews; great-grandchild, Addison Johnson; siblings, Eugene Smith (Minnie) of Monticello, Faye Wright of Forsyth, Felton Smith of Jackson, Wayne Smith (Jo) of Juliette, and Alfred Smith (Jean) of Hapeville; several nieces and nephews; loving companion, Norman Durham.
