Carolyn Canington Goree

Carolyn Canington Goree, 92, of Macon, GA passed away on August 24, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Goree. She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Goree Rigsby of Macon, GA, and Melanie Goree Candler of Milledgeville, GA; two grandsons, Jason Rigsby and Ryan (Chris) Rigsby; and great-granddaughter, Alice Rigsby. Carolyn was a devoted Christian leader in her church and community. She taught a Monday night Bible study at Magnolia Manor of Macon for over 30 years. Her willingness to serve was never-ending. A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at Magnolia Manor of Macon dining room on September 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM. Memorial gifts may be made to a favorite charity or for cancer research.
