Mrs. Carolyn English Everett passed away peacefully Friday night, November 4, 2016, in her home where she had lived since 1953. The Old Lamar Farmhouse, built in 1828, was Mrs. Everett's pride and joy. She nicknamed her home "Kleckley Hill" and spent many happy hours tending the yard and flowers. A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery (North Gate) on Monday, November 7, 2016, at 3:00PM, with the Reverend Tim Bagwell officiating. The family will greet friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204; Hephzibah Children's Home, 6601 Zebulon Road, Macon, Georgia 31220; or Centenary United Methodist Church, 1290 College Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Mrs. Everett is survived by her son-in-law, Larry Drinkard of Macon; grandson, Bo Drinkard (Amy) of Macon; granddaughter, Caroline Edenfield (Brad) of Forsyth; great-grandchildren: Monty Martin of Savannah, Jack Edenfield of Forsyth, Renn Drinkard of Macon, Julianna Drinkard of Macon, and Justin Belk of Athens. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Millar Everett, her son, Charles Millar "Butch" Everett, Jr., and her daughter, Jane Everett Drinkard. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
