Caroline Taylor Lawton

Caroline Taylor Lawton, 71, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, December 15, 2013 in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. Burial will be in the Manchester City Cemetery on Monday, December 16, 2013. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the Cupola. Mrs. Lawton worked at Springdale Elementary School for 25 years. Her interests included reading, traveling, playing bridge, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Lawton was predeceased by her parents, Simeon Lindsey Taylor and Mary Virginia Peters Taylor Carter; and her sister, Virginia Taylor Gibson. Survivors include her son, Fowler Lawton of Macon; daughter, Lindsey Lawton Moxley (Keith) of Macon; grandchildren, Carter Harrison Moxley and Coleman Hayes Moxley; niece, Ginger Buhler Horner of Memphis, Tennessee; and nephew, Jon Buhler (Jennifer) of Memphis, Tennessee.
