Carole McGraw-Edmondson, 65, of Macon, passed away January 25, 2021. There will be a Celebration of Life for Carole Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM, at Hart's at the Cupola with the Reverend Craig Walden officiating. It was Carole’s greatest wish to care for others’ health and we will respectfully not put others in harm’s way during this pandemic. Daughter of the late Zelda Crumley and George Waddell Stapleton, Jr., Carole studied at Macon College and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She loved helping people and did so daily working as a registered nurse at the Medical Center of Central Georgia/Navicent Health before retiring in 2020, after 30 years of service. She was a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and an active member of Rock Springs Church. She enjoyed crafting, traveling, attending concerts, reading, and gardening. She was an avid sports fan, especially the Georgia Bulldogs.
Carole is survived by her husband, Rodney Edmondson of Macon; children, Gabriel McGraw (Shelley), Joshua McGraw (Megan), Ryan Edmondson (Sara) and Sarah Lambert (Dustin); grandchildren, Graysen McGraw, Landon McGraw, Powell McGraw, Bryan Lambert, Ellie Lambert, Tyler Edmondson, Owen Edmondson, and Catherine Edmondson; and four sisters including Cindy Reeves (Reggie).
