Carole Marie Hodges

Carole Marie Hodges, 72, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 830 Poplar Street, Macon, GA 31201. The family will greet friends following a Rosary, 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, at 5370 White House Plantation Road, Macon GA. A private burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Hodges was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles Arnold Reiter and Mary Louise Davis. She was a certified paralegal at Fred Hodges, PC. Mrs. Hodges was preceded in death by her husband Fred Hollingsworth Hodges, Jr. and her older brother Charles Reiter. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 49 years, Mrs. Hodges was actively involved with volunteering for the St. Vincent De Paul Society. She also loved singing with the Sweet Adelines Wings of Harmony Chorus now known as the Sweet Georgia Sound. Survivors include her daughters Lynne Hicks Adams (Chuck) and Jena Hodges Toledano, and her sons Michael Hicks and Brian Hodges (Renata). She has 10 grandchildren: Caroline Adams , Charles Hicks, Christopher Hicks, Shawver Adams, Ansley Toledano, Jonathan Hicks, Zachariah Hicks, Allison Hicks, Travis Hodges, and Lydia Hodges. She is survived by her brother Thomas Reiter and her sisters Linda Thompson and Susan Horton.
