Carole Sue Fleming Jackson

Carole Sue Fleming Jackson passed away early Monday morning surrounded by her husband of 54 years Calvin B. Jackson Jr., and children, Valari (Jon) Byrn, Marna Berryhill, Tertia Hawkins, Calvin B. Jackson III, Raymond (Sheree) Jackson, and Gwen (Michael) Hamlin. She is survived by Lady Wanda her beloved rescue dog, her sister Penny (Neal) Weisenstine of Canton, OH, grandchildren: Claighton (Lizzy) Byrn, Laighcey Byrn, Caleigh Toki, Patrick Jackson, Aubrey (Keith) Beers, Andrew Hawkins, Phillip Hawkins, Coleman Jackson, Evan Jackson, Brianna Hamlin, and Alexander Hamlin. Nieces and nephew Denise Bernard, Laura (George) Foster, Scott (Jackie) Weisenstine, Rachel (Todd) Woodard and 4 great-grandchildren of CA. Mrs. Jackson was born in Cambridge, Ohio and graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor's Degree of Education. She was an elementary school teacher for a span of 45 yrs, retiring from Burke Elementary School of Macon, GA. She was passionate about teaching public elementary children and taught in OH, FL, and GA. She loved to spend time with her family and pets sitting on the porch at home or visiting various GA State parks. Mrs. Jackson was a contributor to many charities, in lieu of flowers please make a donation to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Special Olympics. Please contact Hart's Mortuary for service information. Interment will be graveside in Dover, Ohio. She was greatly loved by many and will be dearly missed.
