Carla Jackson Womack

Carla Jackson Womack passed away suddenly on February 18, 2026, during emergency surgery due to health conditions. She was born on December 21, 1963, to Larry and Mildred Jackson and grew up in Round Oak, Georgia. She loved writing, art, music and the Round Oak country pastures and dirt roads. She always enjoyed her dogs and loved all of her family. She was a proud mother and grandmother. She was exceedingly smart, her resilience and resourcefulness was unmatched. Carla will be best remembered for her strength and commitment to life, which she always believed was worth living. 

There was recently a visitation held by her local relatives. She will be laid to rest by her children and grandchildren in peace and love in due course. She is survived by her father, Larry Jackson, children, Doug Jackson and Mary Carlyn Kinamon (Charles), several grandchildren she loved dearly and her brother, Bart Jackson (Fran). 

In Lieu of flowers or donations, her daughter would love to receive your happy stories and memories of Carla, remembering the person she was over any stage in her lifetime to collect into a book for all of her grandchildren to have a chance to remember her.
