Carl Henry Evans

Carl Henry Evans, 63, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Thursday November 25, 2021.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. Family and friends are also invited to attend the scattering of the ashes at Bond Swamp National Wildlife refuge, 1100 Bondsview Road, Macon, GA 31217 on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. The family will also receive friends at the home of February Emery.  Flowers are accepted, or memorial contributions may be made in Carl’s honor to the American Diabetes Association at https://diabetes.org/.

Carl was born in Macon, on July 4, 1958, to the late Joe Brown Evans and Willie Mae Hartley Evans. While he was born in Macon, he spent much of his life in Glenwood, Georgia. Carl was a former mechanic who enjoyed fishing, collecting Budweiser items, cracking a good joke, and spending time with his family and friends.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, John, James, Herman, and Gene Evans; and two sisters, Arlene Hulett and Geraldine Evans.

Carl is survived by his former wife, Wendy Evans, of Macon, Georgia; daughter, February Emery (Robert), of Macon, Georgia; son, Carl Evans, II (Jamie), of Colorado; six grandchildren, M'Kayla Emery, Robert Emery, III (Elijah), Alexis Blackmon, Breyona Emery, and Spencer and Carlie Evans; one great grandchild, Robbyn Emery and several sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
