Carilee Nutting Deaton

Carilee Nutting Deaton, 85, passed away Friday, November 6, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Deaton, Sr., son, Richard R. Deaton, and brother, John B. Nutting. Survivors include her son, Charles P. Deaton, Jr. (Lynn) of Macon, and daughter in law, Elaine Deaton Mollenkopf (Charles) of Warner Robins, Ga.; Grandchildren, Charles P. Deaton III, Jennifer Deaton Haskell (George) and Richard R. Deaton Jr.; Great grandchild, Nathaniel Charles Haskell. Sister, Ruth N. Wilkes of St. Simons Island, Ga. Mrs. Deaton was devoted to her family and friends. She was known for her quiet, sweet spirit. She was the school secretary at Alexander IV School for many years. She was a charter member of the Riverside United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery entering through the main gate. Reverend Steve Waldorf will officiate. The family will greet friends at the graveside after the service.
