Bruce Mccarty Johnson

Bruce Johnson, age 59, died May 1, 2018. Mr. Johnson was the first son of Craig and the late Mariel Johnson and the owner of Commercial Furnishings. Bruce was preceded in death by former wife, Lori Ann Wallace. Bruce is survived by his wife Sarah Johnson, his son Kirk Johnson and his step sons Joshua and Joseph Huckeba and his three siblings, Sue Cunningham, Amy Ford and Tim Johnson. Bruce was born in Pensacola, FL as a Marine Corps brat. He was raised in Michigan and graduated from Hillsdale College. In addition to owning Commercial Furnishings, Bruce was an avid golfer at Healy Point club. All of his friends know him as a diehard Michigan fan as well. Bruce contributed to many causes locally including Boys and Girls Club of Central Georgia and The Macon Rescue Mission. Please make donations to these causes in his name in lieu of other gifts. Memorial services will be performed Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 3:00PM at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, 31210.
