Bruce Harry Hootman

Bruce Harry Hootman passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 2:00PM at Hart’s Mortuary, downtown chapel, 765 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201 with Chaplin Lance Merritt officiating.

Bruce is predeceased by his parents, Bruce John Hootman and Virginia Opal McKinny Hootman; brothers, Jim Hootman and Ronald Hootman; mother-in-law, Shirley Mae Brock; and brother-in-law, Stephen Stanko.

Bruce retired from Anchor Glass after thirty-two and a half years of service. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all that had the honor to know and love him.

Bruce is survived the love of his life, Tony Hootman of Perry, Georgia; son, Bruce Robert Hootman; daughters, Virginia Inez Hilty (Chad) and Gloria Jean Holle; 9 grandchildren; 4 greatgrandchildren, expecting the 5th; sisters: Glenda and Sandra Stanko, Joyce Bromley (John), and Shirley Kovacicek (Mike).
