Bruce R. Henderson

Bruce Ray Henderson, 61, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024.  A funeral mass will be held at 3:00 on Friday, July 5, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family will greet friends following the service at Hart’s Mortuary at the Cupola. In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 830 Poplar Street. Macon, Georgia 31201.

Bruce was born on October 4, 1962, in Greenville, Alabama.  He spent many years as the respected store manager of CVS Pharmacy in Perry, where his dedication and hard work were evident to colleagues and customers.

An enthusiastic University of Alabama fan, Bruce's passion for his team was second only to his love for horror and western movies. His spare time often found him in the great outdoors, where he pursued his favorite hobbies of hunting and fishing.

Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his two sons, Brian Patrick Henderson (Storm Murray) of McDonough, Georgia, and Eric Tyler Henderson of Macon, Georgia; father, Zollie Henderson of Gulf Shores, Alabama; sister, Kim Henderson Krieger of St. Johns, Florida; and a few cousins.

Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Henderson; and his mother, Edie Henderson.
