Broadus Willingham Marshall, Jr. passed away on August 28, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 3:00PM at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1290 College Street, Macon, GA 31201. Dr. Tim Bagwell will be officiating with burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vine-Ingle Little League, P.O. Box 7837, Macon, GA 31209 or Centenary United Methodist Church. Broadus was predeceased by his parents, Broadus Willingham and Gladys Parker Burns Marshall, and sister, Manson Rhodes. He attended Georgia Southern University and Mercer University. He was past president of Vine-Ingle Little League where he was actively involved for over 25 years. He was active with the Middle Georgia Soccer Association, a member of the Macon Exchange Club, Downtown Rotary and was on the President's Agents Advisory Council for Safeco Insurance Company. He was on the Board of Directors for Independent Agents of Georgia and a founding member of Young Agents Council. He was a member of Ingleside United Methodist Church where he served on the administrative board and finance committee. Broadus is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jo Anne Marshall; sons, Broadus Willingham "Will" Marshall, III, (Kate) of Lakeland, Florida, Matthew Parker Marshall of Macon, and Julian McKinley "Mac" Marshall of Macon; grandchildren, Parker Riching Marshall and Elliott Marie Marshall of Lakeland; sister, Gay Marshall Gladin (Tom) of Jasper, GA; nieces, Anna Pilla (Leo) and Amanda Ferguson (Michael); great nephews, Justin and Lucas Pilla; and great niece Natalie Ferguson.
