Brian Lamar Denton,35, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be private. The family will greet friends Monday, January 18, 2016 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA. Brian was born on November 4, 1980 and has been a lifelong residence of Jones County. He attended Jones County High and was previously employed by Fielddale Corp. Brian was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lamar Lanthrip. Brian is survived by his three children, Brandon M. Denton, Briana E. Dixon and Isabella M. Denton; mother and step-father, Brenda and Jason Mercer; father and step-mother , Dean and Darlene Denton; brother, Billy (Angela) Denton; sister, Renee (Kevin) Dixon; grandmother, Mary Lanthrip; half-brother, Brandon Denton; step-sisters, Aleixs Mercer and Kaitlen Sarber; step-brothers, Lance Mercer, Dalton Anderson and Joey Sarber; and extended family and friends.
