Brian Ciavattone

Brian Ciavattone of Macon, passed away, Sunday, July 21, 2019. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 6:00pm to 7:00 pm and a Rosary service from 7:00pm to 7:30pm at Hart’s Mortuary and Cremation Center at the Cupola.

Brian was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 30, 1957 to the late Remo Ciavattone and Antoinette Bove Ciavattone. He was employed as an electrical engineer with Robins Air Force Base.

Brian was a graduate of Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. He was an avid fan of both the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings. He enjoyed bicycling and working out with his wife, Katrina.

Brian is survived by his wife of 35 years, Katrina; brothers, Greg (Gina) Ciavattone of Warren, Michigan and Neil (Jenny) Ciavattone of Hanover, Maryland. Brian was affectionately attached to their Terrier mix pooch, Major Chester, and a cat, Oscar Harvey.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association and Kitty City Cat Rescue, 4530 Knight Road, Macon GA 31220.
