Brenda Ledbetter Stacey

August 6, 1947 — April 10, 2017

Brenda Ledbetter Stacey went home to be with her Lord on Monday, April 10, 2017. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11:00AM at Mabel White Baptist Church. The Reverends Joe McDaniel and Dr. Lee Sheppard will be officiating with burial following at Macon Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Stacey was predeceased by her parents, T.G. and Ida Mae Wright and brother Tommy Wright. She graduated from A.L. Miller High School and Georgia Southwestern where she studied business, real estate and marketing. She was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church and taught the special needs class where she was voted Teacher of the Year. This class was very special to her. She had an outgoing spirit and was always helping others. She loved her dog Babie and was an avid animal lover. She also enjoyed working with the children at her church. Mrs. Stacey was survived by her husband, Jim Stacey of Macon; daughter, Brandy Ledbetter of Houston, TX; step-son, Jimbo Stacey (Lisa) of Gulf Shores, AL; sister, Sherrie Hitchcock (Jim) of Ball Ground, Georgia; nephew, Clay Hitchcock (Katie) of Dallas, Georgia; grandniece, Kynley Hitchcock of Dallas, Georgia and numerous cousins.
