Brenda Mercer

Brenda Mercer 58 passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018. Services will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, 11:00 AM at Middle Georgia Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Hart’s Jones County Chapel.

Brenda was born on July 21, 1960 and has been a life long resident of Jones County. She attended Cross Keys Christian Academy. She was previous employed by Jones County and Macon-Bibb County Public Works.

She loved fishing, anything outdoors, loved friends and family more than anything.

Brenda is predeceased by her parents: Norris Eugene Fountain and Eloise Sapp Fountain; her brother Robert E. Fountain and her son; Brian Lamar Denton

Brenda is survived by her husband Jason Mercer; son, Billy Denton (Angela) and daughter Renee Dixon (Kevin); stepchildren; Alexis Mercer, Lance Mercer (Jessica), Dalton Mercer; Grandchildren: Mason Dixon, Jacob Dixon, Bristol Dixon, Brandon Denton, Briana Dixon, Olivia Palmer, Isabella Denton, Conner Jackson, Ema Mercer and Ella Mercer.
